| Our phone number |
|
Due to OFCOM changing the rules on 0870 numbers, we have decided to drop our 0870 service. Since this number was forwarded to us, we have opted to use that number instead. So with immediate effect, our number is 0560 130 1133. Current BT call charges, including VAT at the current rate, are as follows: | Daytime | 4.888p per minute | | Evening | 1.998p per minute | | Weekends | 1.175p per minute | This rate is BT's G21 (calls to new voice services) tarrif and is slightly lower than a standard landline to landline call charge. According to BT, since this number is a VOIP line it counts as a landline for the purposes of billing, which means that if you have a calling option that gives you free landline to landline calls, calling us will cost you nothing from a landline phone. Mobile and other service providers might charge for the call.

| Useful information |
|
We thought you would appreciate some information which might help you to choose your weapon and which will provide answers to some of the questions we are asked on a regular basis. - All sizes on our site are approximate and refer to the overall length of the item
- Daggers are approximately 18" in overall length unless otherwise stated
- Weapons up to 42" are made with a glass fibre core and foam handles as standard unless stated otherwise. Other options are available at an additional charge. Items of 48" or over are made with carbon fibre cores as standard
- Items suitable for throwing have no solid core. We do not make throwing knives
- Heavy weighting is only available on carbon fibre swords up to 42". Carbon fibre swords above this length are standardly light-weighted only
- Due to variations in the painting process and pigment colours being hand mixed, weapon colours do not necessarily come as shown on the website. You can request specific colours. Specialist paint effects are available at an additional charge.
- Where items are in stock, the picture on the website is of the stock item. However, due to various conditions (lighting when the picture was taken, the way your monitor displays colours etc), colours may appear slightly different on screen
- Shields take approximately three times as long to paint as swords and take up considerably more space during the process. Therefore they can take up to 2 weeks longer to make than swords, especially at busy times
- Standardly, oval and round shields can be used either right or left handed, making them ideal for monster kit. Small shields are made with a centre grip handle. Large and huge shields in other styles are made to be used in the left hand (ie. right-handed). Please state on your order if you want your shield to be made for use on the right arm (ie. left-handed)
- Sizes for female body armour are UK sizes. To ensure you order the correct size, you might find it useful to refer to an international comparison chart such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clothing_sizes
- The currency in the UK is Pounds Sterling (British Pounds), not Euros
- Yes, we do ship overseas
- If you would prefer not to pay for your order by card, we can offer alternative payment methods. To receive an automated e-mail with details of our alternative payment methods, click here
We make every effort to ensure that our weapons meet the standards required for your role-playing organisation. We would therefore be very grateful if organisations could contact us if there are any changes to their weapons standards so that we can take these into account when making weapons for their members.

| Care of latex weapons |
|
Care of your Latex weapon is important to its continued safe usage and to the lifetime of the weapon. - Do not store in direct sunlight
- Do not store in extreme conditions (the ideal temperature range is +8 to +22 degrees celcius)
- Do not compress or bend the tip of your weapon
- Do not twist or put your weapon in torsion
- Do not stab, lunge or otherwise poke with your weapon
- Do not strike with the tip of your latex weapon
In addition to the above points you are advised to make sure that your latex weapon is not exposed to water or sunlight for long periods of time. Silicone may be applied to your weapon after usage to ensure that your weapon will not stick to other weapons for years to come. If silicone (such as neutral shoe shine silicone) is not available then talcum powder may be used as an alternative but can result in the weapon losing its lustre more quickly. Never use baby oil or other mineral oils as these can destroy the latex.
